Kitchen Chairs [I'd Like You to Meet Black Spray Paint]

Spray paint therapy always seems to come at just the right time.  When all else fails, paint it.  That was my solution to all of the different wood finishes in our kitchen.  The table was made in the 1800's by my Great-Great Grandfather, so needless to say it is staying just the way it is.  The bench in the background was made for our kitchen and painted in a distressed black.  The natural choice was to paint the chairs, right fellow spray paint lovers?

So what do you think?  The next plan is to take down the cabinet and put up shelves to display the photos on.  My question to you is do I go with white shelves or black?

  2. The chairs look great. I think I'd do black shelves. The mattes will probably be white, so that will help to brighten it up.
