If nothing else, the title must have gotten your attention. Have you seen Alice in Wonderland? Our family went to see it a while back and I must admit that Mr.and I enjoyed it much more than the kids. The character we loved most was the Queen of hearts. With her bulbous head and her quick temper, we could hardly stop laughing during any scene she appeared in. "Off with your head" was her mantra, but that wasn't my favorite line.
"I need a pig here! I love a warm pig belly for my aching feet" would have to be my favorite line. In some ways, I can identify with the queen and her appreciation for a warm pig belly. Please forgive my ugly feet. After many years of ballet followed by many miles of running, they have seen better days. By the way, I just painted my toenails with a fresh bottle of Mod Squad by Essie. Love. Essie is my favorite polish.
Mod Squad and Sugar Daddy (love this on the fingers)
While we are on the subject of polish, I would love to invite you to a link party next Monday the 21st. I thought that it would be fun to celebrate my 400 followers with a party. Let's take a break from decor, spray paint, and thrifting with a little peak inside the overnight bag. If you were leaving town for the weekend and could only take 5 things in your cosmetic bag, what would they be? Think beyond toothpaste and deodorant. What fun little beauty secrets have you been keeping all to yourself? Guys, you are invited too. Now is the time to share. I think it will be fun especially with travel plans in the future for many of you this summer. There is always an undiscovered tip out there waiting to be found. So tell me, what's inside your bag?
By the way, no animals were harmed during the making of this post.

Oh, I just adore the Alice in Wonderland movie.
ReplyDeleteYour toes look great! I have the same color on my toes too. I think I used China Glaze. My toes look great but my feet veiny from when I was pregnant. Those kids took my beautiful body and wreaked it!
So you want us to link up what we would bring? Hmmm. Since I don't get to go anywhere this will be rough.
Have a great week!
Jessica
I'm not planning to go anywhere either Jessa, but we can pretend right, LOL?

Congrats on 400+. Alice and Wonderland movie was just o.k to us. I think it had been played up too much before it came out. Cute post with your feet on your dog's belly. I think I can attend on Monday!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie yet, but I want to.
ReplyDeleteI just have to say your feet actually look really good! This is coming from a former jazz dancer (who had to take ballet for technique) & former office mgr for podiatrists.
I've bookmarked the date for your party! btw, I'm having my first one - all about the 4th of July - every Thursday, starting this week. Hope to see you there!
