I don't know about the rest of you, but I am still savoring the May "Big Advice" issue of House Beautiful. One bit of advice that has finally stuck with me, because I am not a savvy designer like many of you, is that every piece of furniture in a room should not be brown.
In that case, my dining room needs help.

Awww, thanks for including mine! (How I wish the rest of my dining room was finished.) The funny thing is, I looked at that picture and thought "I have that same mirror!" It's early :)

Great inspiration, my project list includes getting to my dining nook one of these days and would love to include some interesting chairs.

Great inspiration. Especially the Phoebe Howard and Ruthie Sommers rooms. Yum. I'm on the verge of mixing up my all brown dining furniture too. Only I think I'm going for multiple colors - not quite as refined as what you have in mind, but definitely not all brown! Completely agree with you re the big advice issue btw. So much good stuff in there.

I love white chairs. So crisp, clean and elegant looking. I like to mix white with animal prints for a little "wow". My plans this weekend are lots of walks with our new puppy and painting! I wish you a great weekend!

White always makes everything look so fresh and vibrant, and I have quite a lot of furniture on the list for a complete whitewash. Thanks for posting these lovely inspirational pics, and have a great weekend! K xx
I love fresh white chairs too. My dining room table is dark and painting mine has been on my list forever. Last weekend I got the sprayer out and did them up. What a difference it makes. I will show them off as the dining room gets a makeover.
