No matter how much I have come to love color lately, when I see a home like this one, I fall in love with neutrals all over again. I love the way color is injected into the room through pillows, rugs, and accessories while the furnishings and walls remain white, taupe, and black. Even with all of the dark stained furniture, the rooms are kept open and airy with generous doses of white on the walls and upholstery.
I have that first image saved to my favorites. I love it too! I'm drawn to neutrals also. I don't think you can ever go wrong with a neutral palette.
ReplyDeleteI thought that darling little boy was sitting on his puppy - it's early - I'm going to get my coffee! I love the way the textures stand out in a room of neutrals.
ReplyDeleteThis is my type of decoration. I have tried to infused bold colors but always end up going back to neutrals.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes! Neutrals are never in my minds eye when decorating, but they do have character :)
ReplyDeleteI love neutrals too. Some blues here and there make me happy though.
ReplyDelete{I put your blog back in my sidebar. I had trouble with blogger a while back and lost some of my list.}
Take care.
I love this. All the rooms have just the right mix. Not too white, not too dark, with small injections of color. I adore the ottomans in the living room. Very, very nice.
ReplyDeletelove that chandelier
ReplyDeletei love all things white and cream. it's so classic and timeless... and makes every room feel open and airy.

i admired that house when my SL came in the mail. I like it, but I think I'd miss my green walls!
ReplyDeleteMmm, I love a good neutral room. Makes me think chocolate and vanilla. Timeless flavors, classic look.
ReplyDeleteLike so many places on this earth, it's lovely to look at, but I wouldn't want to live there. I need COLOR.
ReplyDeleteTo each her own! It's why they make vanilla AND chocolate.
Beautiful rooms.

You can't go wrong with neutral decorating, and it's so fun and easy to add pops of your favorite color of the moment.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed beautiful! I'm the opposite of one of the other commenters. I try to inject neutrals, but keep over shadowing them with color! Oh well. Our being different is what make the world go round I suppose.
