I have been on the lookout for a bamboo or bentwood chair to use as a desk chair. This one keeps popping up on Craigslist. A little more bent than bamboo, but for $25, with a little paint and new fabric, this could be a fun little chair. Do you agree?
Very cute and I think it would look so 'original' with a fresh coat of paint!! And, for $25 - how could you not? My only concern would be comfort if you plan to use it on a daily basis. I bought some bentwood chairs and ended up not using them b/c they weren't the most comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of the bamboo chair...am loving the first image...I might never leave my desk if I had a chair like that!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and entering the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteYes! I have wanted one in hot pink for ages and for $25 that is a must buy.
ReplyDeleteLove the bamboo chairs!
ReplyDeleteLove the chair, it will be really cute when done. Don't worry about comfort, it's the look that's important, right? You could always plump up the seat with extra padding.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely! it's adorable and would look so great painted in a fun color!
ReplyDeleteYes, and with that type of seat cover it would be very easy to update with new fabric! I'd grab it, if I had a place to put it! Janell
ReplyDeleteI think you should go for it! Especially at that price. Buy it and put your stamp on it. If something better comes along you can always resell the chair for more! Love your style and your blog.
ReplyDeleteLoving the turquoise chair and the white one in the closet nook. Great find with the chair. Excited to see what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Go for it!

ReplyDeleteGreat chairs!! I think you could do wonders with that little Craigs list one! If it keeps popping up, it is meant for you! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think it could work! It's ALMOST like the chair from Lonny;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree! It's going to be very cute! I finally finished my little chair, it was fun to do.
ReplyDeleteOh, I think it has TONS of potential! Go for it!
ReplyDeleteYes, this chair has a lot of potential...although I agree that it may not be very comfortable. Ah...the price we pay for beauty. Thanks for posting this pics...I'm going to save them for office inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove the chair. I would definitely do it. Hugs,Marty
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks ya'll. I'm going to have Mr. read your very convincing comments. Yes, we "need" this chair.
ReplyDeleteRene, you could
ReplyDeletehave written this
one just for me....
I brought home an
antique chair on
Friday for my desk
and because of the
arms, it didn't fit!
{And all sales final..
grr...} I love the one
that you show that
has no arms....and if
the Craigslist one
fits your desk, I say
go for it!
xx Suzanne
