It pays to hold out until you find just the thing you are after. When I painted the floors on our boys' rooms white, finding a bedside rug for the green room was a must. It didn't need to be a large rug, just something to step onto in the cool mornings. I've always liked a little bedside rug. Mr. and I have each have tiny matching black and white stripe rugs to step onto in the morning as well as a place to rest our slippers at night. With wood floors, it has become a necessity.

ReplyDeleteFor the bathroom, how about double matting the pictures that you want to hang on the wall? Use a white matte for the main matte, and then have a second blue matte under the white.

ReplyDeleteMaybe some blue-and-white Delft plates for the wall in the bathroom? Or a Delft charger or platter to sit on the toilet tank or by the sink (I can't remember if you have a pedestal sink in there or not) to hold a few items ...
