It's That Time Again...Market
Those of you who have been reading my blog regularly know that twice a year I work at the High Point Furniture Market in the Encore showroom. For a week or so, I try to come up with something to wear other than running shorts and flip flops. It is always fun to reconnect with my showroom friends who come from all over the country.
To give you a little background, the principals of Encore were the founders of Maitland-Smith and Theodore Alexander. You can learn more about them here. Being a part of this team is an honor and I look forward to it every market.
I thought you might enjoy a few pictures from last market. Psst... rumor has it that the floors have been painted white. Ha! Who knew?
The last week has been very busy for me and I have fallen behind in blog reading and follow up. I am making every effort to stay connected, but am falling short so please don't give up on me. If you have a specific question, you can always email me cottageandvine@triad.rr.com.

I would love to go to Market. I am afraid they would have to kick me out because I would not want to leave.

Oh, Market is so fun! I haven't been in years. Hopefully you'll be able to get out of the showroom at least a little bit and explore!
ReplyDeleteI am amarket girl i guess!! I am happy shopping for anyone not only for myself!! BTW what are those branches with white flowers? are they real or artificial?

Shoppingaholic, those are fresh branches from dogwood trees that bloom here in the spring.
