sofa slip cover: Design Garden
The frilly skirt adds a nice feminine touch to this sofa.
reupholstered chair: Restoration House
This chair looks like a million dollars, and it has my wheels turning for a little project of my own.
Have you used painter's canvas in a recent project?
Feel free to link it below.
Don't worry if it is an old project, just link it.

ReplyDeleteWell what a surprise. I can link the drape post that you just showed a piece of, I guess. Thanks for the compliment!
ReplyDeleteHi Rene. Saw this post via twitter, glad to link up!
ReplyDeleteI remember Mrs.Limestone created a skirt for here craft/sewing table out of this. I am thinking of trying to do the same with our desk in the home office.

Hi Rene! I'm currently sewing a dropcloth slipcover for my sofa. Not sure if I'll finish before Friday, but this party gives me more motivation. Hope you enjoyed your white Christmas! Lisa
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics and results. Love the pleated table cover with trim. Every room needs some softness that reaches the floor.
ReplyDeleteso many great ideas! i don't have anything to link up, but i am going to be covering two midcentury chairs with drop cloths soon. i need my mom's help though. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the slip cover. I am not clever enough to do that, I fear.
ReplyDeleteTara at Between You & Me made a beautiful bedskirt that is on my project to-do list!

ReplyDeleteSomeone just posted on my facebook you highlighted my sofa slipcover, thank you so much! I just adore those curtains and may try hand at some of those this spring! I linked up another project I did this fall as well =) Great blog, I'm now following you!
-I realized the last post said I'm "not" following you instead of "now" oops!
So I love all the ideas that where posted so I thought I would post one too, I think I need to go and buy the book blogging for dummies, It seems as though I don't know how to post a picture that links up to my blog.. sorry Please don't make fun of me.
ReplyDeleteThe furniture looks amazing in the fabric. I have a ton of it left over and am planning on doing my vanity seat one of these days!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I love that couch cover too! All are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Rene for featuring my chair! Just loving all the other features and entries and will be using dropcloth for some new projects in the future! Thanks for the feature and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteKim:)
Great party, Rene! Lots of good ideas to be had! I might just have to whip up a post on my couch to include here (if I can get my act together!) Though I didn't make it myself, a local seamstress made a dropcloth slipcover for my leather camelback sofa in November. She did a beautiful job and it has really changed the look of my living room for the better.
ReplyDeleteSuch great ideas, Rene. Will have to post about my curtains asap--I lined them with dropcloth canvas!
ReplyDeleteI haven't YET, but I'm dying to! They look amazing in so many different uses, but I just haven't tried it yet. Love!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe how much have been done with drop cloths! HAve you seen Miss Mustard Seed's livingroom redo? The chairs she did are so beautiful. I think she slipcovered her sofa with them too!
ReplyDeleteNow, let me go figure out something I can use drops cloths for!
Have a great day Rene.

ReplyDeleteInexpensive, customizable, huge; drop cloths really are the most perfect fabric.
I know I'm too late for the party but it was my inspiration to get moving on my drop cloth project. Thanks for the kick in the rear - what great motivation!
