Anyway, on to thanking my blogging friends...
When I started this little blog, I had no idea how many sweet people I would virtually meet. Recently, I was awarded with a stylish blogger award. While I don't usually participate in awards, but I did want to sincerely thank the sweet ladies who gave them to me and share their links so you can pay them a visit.
Courtney - A Thoughtful Place
Anne - Bird/Like
Teresa - Splendid Sass
Thank you!

I always like to share reader projects with you and I recently received a few of pictures and links that I thought you would enjoy.
Jane made window treatments and reupholstered a chair using drop cloths.
The green trim was such a great idea to add a bit of color. Love it!
This is a project that I have on my loooong to-do list, but something tells me that my first pass at slip covers may not turn out this good. Great job Jane and thank you for emailing me these pictures!
Jaime, from the blog That's My Letter, recovered her wingback chairs with drop cloths.
She even added this pretty trim detail that gave the chairs a feminine twist. Didn't she do a great job? To learn more about Jaime's chairs, go here.
Jaime did another project that was inspired by the burlap table runner tutorial.
She made a runner for her mantle and you can learn more about it here.
Thanks again for sharing these great projects!
If you have a cottage and vine inspired project that you would like to share email me at cottageandvine@triad.rr.com

My friend, uses a drop cloth tucked in around the cushions of her cool settee...protection from her Boston Terrier. Looks like a slip cover.
