Entry Inspiration

I gathered from Friday's post that I am not the only one with a tiny entry.  If you have a space large enough for even the smallest table, then you have a canvas that can create a welcoming entry, big or small.  Here are a few inspiration images that I love.

  1. OOOOOO, the Simply Seleta is my favorite, but of course, I would take any of them.
With 6 kids, a hubby and a dog, our back porch is truly a functioning mud room and is always a mess. Someday, it will be all pretty and a welcoming site when friends stop by. For now, I will just enjoy the goings in and out of the kids.

  2. I love all those entries! That is one of the most chnaged areas in my house. I find myself constantly tweaking it. I guess it is because it is the first spot I see when I come in the door.
    Great inspiration!!

  3. What lovely entries you have found ... and a coincidence. I have the turquoise wall unit with cubbies and drawers in my inspiration file, too!

  4. Love your inspiration pics, Rene. They are all fabulous. Unfortunately, we don't have a foyer area...our front door goes right into our living room, but I love what you've done to yours!!

  18. I love each and
    every one! I
    discovered Rita
    Konig this year
    by stealing the
    Personal Journal
    section from the
    WSJ each day ~
    she often contributes
    and I really like
    her style : )
    For some reason,
    I'm now itching to
    re-do my entry....!

  21. I love Simply Seleta's foyer and that tangerine colored door is kind of fun in the right setting. We also have a tiny entry. Our entry has just been painted and I look forward to creating something fun and welcoming. Great inspiration here!

  23. Those are all such great inspirations! But not only do I have a small entrance, but my door opens against the only wall...so I can't really put anything in it but a rug!!!

  24. For some reason I find entry ways so difficult to tackle. I'll have to refer back to this whenever I need to decorate mine!
