Fabric Sources & a Lovely Dining Room
Thank you to everyone who left a comment about the mood board yesterday. A few of you asked about the fabric sources, so here they are.
Also, some of you wanted to know more about mood boards in general. There are several different sites you can use, but my favorite has always been polyvore. It is simple to use and really the best way to familiarize yourself is to sign in and just play around. Caution: can be habit forming. It is the best way to get the feel for a room and the direction it is going. Enjoy!
If you haven't seen the latest Lonny, you can check it out right here. I have fallen in love with this dining room and it is exactly the direction I was heading. Oh and about those shades on the chandeliers, never mind.
Enjoy your day!

I fell in love with this dining room, particularly the driftwood lamp...so pretty and fresh. I admire that the owners worked the decor into the traditional bones of the house, too.
ReplyDeleteRene, I had never heard of buyfabrics. Thanks for giving me a new source! P.S. My post today was inspired by the new Lonny! It really is my fave of all the online mags.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the fabric sources. I love the green and white and might use some of it in my living room. So . . does that mean no shades??? I might follow what you do!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful room! Thanks for the info!:) I know what you mean about the mood boards being very addictive!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fabric sourcing! Loved the fabrics in your mood board, it's nice to know where I can get some. (once I allow myself to buy more fabric, I'm stashbusting for the next month.)

ReplyDeleteI heart fabric!!! That is my dream dining room. Happy Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI so love that DR...it is traditional, cottage and modern all in one. But it is done really well....just the right amount of everything. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your fabric sources, I am always looking for new ones. I haven't tried polyvore. I have been using olioboards (have you tried it?) Thank you for commenting on my moodboard, the rug source is Crate and Barrel. I love the dining room you have featured, I was thumbing through the new issue of Lonny earlier and drooling over every page.
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are lovely! Thank you for sharing and once again your timing is perfect ~ I need curtains and chair covers for the kitchen.
