Baby Lock Them Doors...

Who knew what an impact Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler would have on American Idol?  The talent this season has never been better and the show itself had such an upbeat vibe.  Now that it is down to two finalists, I have to give a shout out to my NC boy, Scotty McCreey.

Honestly I like Lauren just as much and would be happy with either being the winner.  One thing is certain, tonight is going to be entertaining.  Do you have a favorite?

  3. i actually loved hailey... i know she wasn't as warm and friendly but i love her soulful voice. out of lauren and scotty i think i prefer scotty. that video from last week where he got in the car and just lost it definitely tugged at my heartstrings and showed what a caring and emotional guy he is.

  6. I think Lauren has a better voice, but I like Scotty's personality much better. He seems more mature. I'm so excited that it's them in the final two. I haven't watched AI in several seasons, but I'm so glad I tuned in this year. :)

  9. I haven't watched the whole season because it overlaps with my Dancing with the Stars. My father loves American idol and I don't think he has missed a season. I'll have to check in with him and see who he is rooting for.

  11. Scotty has been one of my faves ever since I heard him hit that first bass note and give that Scotty sly smirk but if Lauren wins, I am okay with that too. I was happy to see Hayley leave. She is talented but just not a favorite for me.

  12. Being a Carolina girl and living about an hour or less from Garner, I am definitely pulling for Scotty!!

    I loved this season from beginning to end. The addition of JLo and Steven Tyler was the best thing Idol has done. They give constructive criticism without putting anyone down and the three judges build them up so much!! I hope they stay around. It has kept me watching after several years of not watching.

    That and Scotty, too!

  19. My husband and I have just finished watching the final performance show here in Oz. We love Scotty and are hoping he wins, sounds like the judges are bit more in Lauren's camp, but what would they know ;) Nicolex

  21. I LOVE American Idol. I can't believe how much I enjoy the judges. These two are fantastic. Both so adorable and innocent. No matter what, they will both be on my iPod!!! :)
