Here today to share her favorite room is Emily Hewett from A Well Dressed Home. Welcome Emily!
Hello everyone! My name is Emily Hewett, and I am owner/operator of A Well Dressed Home and author of A Well Dressed Home Blog. I am so honored to be here today as a part of this amazing series!
Determining my favorite room was unexpectedly difficult for me! Initially I thought I'd say my favorite room is our living room because it is a great mix of my husband's and my different styles.
And then I got to thinking, maybe it's our master bedroom as it is cozy and calming....and let's face it, I am appreciative of any amount of sleep I can get these days!
Finally, I came to the conclusion that my favorite room is definitely our kitchen. Is it because I spend a lot of time in there slaving away over home cooked meals? Ummmm, no. I don't cook. But there was so much TLC that went into remodeling our kitchen that it is definitely best-loved.
For those of you that have not seen the transformation on my blog, here is what our kitchen looked like before:
And here it is after the big remodel! Quite a difference, don't you think?!
And for those of you that are interested in the window shade...it was a $25 diy project. To learn more or how to make one yourself, click HERE.
Thanks so much to Miss Rene for including me in this wonderful series! I can't wait to see what other bloggers have in store for us!

ReplyDeleteGreat rooms! I love the kitchen too... so much fun to see a fabulous before and after!
ReplyDeleteLately, I've been having visions of how good our kitchen would look with painted cabinets. But I think the hubs would have a fit at even the slightest mention. :) Our home is only a couple years old and you know how most men are about painting wood... :) So I guess I just need to be patient and maybe someday...
This is my dream kitchen. I love the cabinets and how they redid the bar area!! Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane

Your kitchen is so pretty, I'd move my bed in there to sleep!
ReplyDeleteWow, love your kitchen, Emily. Those look like the same cabinets, just painted and with upper glass-fronted ones added? Will have to check out more. Also will have to see more of the master bedroom--love that mix of patterns in neutrals!
