This was a crazy busy weekend. As the saying goes, I need a weekend to recover from the weekend. With all of the celebrating we did, it became perfectly clear to me how important the kitchen is to our family. It is truly the heart of our home. And, as you can see by the text books lined up on the banquette, all of the homework happens here too.

Looks like a full and wonderful weekend! The kitchen is absolutely the heart of our home, and was the driving force behind the remodel a few years back. Having an open space that others could feel connected in was a top priority.

Aw, what a handsome family you have. It's fun to see the family side of things and what brings you joy. I don't post many personal photos or thoughts, but this makes me want to do a personal post every now and then. Yep, the kitchen is where we spend a lot of time too. Yours is beautiful.

ReplyDeletewe had a nice cool weekend, too. i LOVE fall. sadly my boots are in storage til weds so my feet haven't been as warm and cozy as i would like! we had soccer, bday party, and some yardwork. i got out for a run and a walk, and just enjoyed the outdoors... oh and the best part was chris and i had a date night last night at a new wine bar. and we started the night going to target to get a new cofee maker and some other necessities, but it was fun!

Happy Birthday to your guy! (Blessings to Mom, too; welcome to 13!) Our kitchen, living room, and dining are all one room, so we definitely do our living in that space, but with three cooks in the family, the kitchen section is definitely the favorite!
