Masculine Office Inspiration

I am working on an office plan for someone near and dear to me.  More on that later.  I have been gathering images to share with  my special client and wonder if he will like these...

I really love the look of dark walls paired with warm wood tones.  One thing is certain, texture will be key in pulling off this space.  Mixes of metal finishes, think chrome, brass, and dull metals.  Nubby fabrics paired with crisp stripes and leather.  Also, my client is adamant about having a wall gallery in his office.  This should be fun....

Love masculine spaces all around. Such a classic look. Did you notice--all but one of those pics have flowers in them...see, you CAN have flowers in a "man room!"

Rene, I love all these and this is the look I am going for when I have my future office. I'm leaning more masculine these days, there is something sophisticated about it! Anyhoo, the third picture is my fave. Your very dear and near client is v. lucky to have you help him!!!

It seems that masculine usually means dark walls (and ususally with lots of crap around). As a result, I'm loving that first image.

There is something that I'm really drawn to with masculine spaces. I'd love to design a "guy" space one of these days because I don't think it's something that a guy really thinks of as important but once they have it they'll love it, don't you think? The first and last rooms are my favorite. Now that I think about it, maybe it's the classic look that these rooms have - nothing too trendy but still really current and classic and rugged. Can't wait to hear more about the project.

I do love the dark walls with warm wood tones. I am attempting that in my dining room. Your "special" client will love it, I am sure. Gorgeous pics.

Once I finish moving into my new craft / office space, it'll be time to turn my attention to changing our bright and cheery shared office space into more of a masculine cave for the hubs. Thanks for the inspiration pics!

I'm sure if your client has seen previous work, he'll just leave it your hands and tell you to run with it! :)
