Pardon my randomness today. I managed to accomplish a long to-do list over the weekend that included hanging curtains, adding trim to curtains, etc. More on that hopefully later this week.
Yesterday I picked a few hellebores from the garden to enjoy on my desk. It is around 20 degrees this morning and these pretty little flowers are not phased one bit by the cold. I love that they bloom when few other plants dare to.
Speaking of the desk, my husband hooked up a second screen for me to use and I love it! It makes working so much easier to have two screens to work from.
Last but not least, the mirrors are officially gold and what a difference this made in warming up the room! I will have more pictures to share soon. The curtains are hung (I will keep the color a surprise) and now I need to make a pillow cover and some diy art. These should all be fun projects to share.

those flowers make me happy on a monday morning, too! and i love the gold frame on the mirrors- perfection!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your room! :) Pretty flowers! I'm hoping, hoping that the weather we've had holds out for another month. We drove down to Ashville last weekend and saw snow flurries for the *third* time this year. Usually I love snow, but seeing daffodils and forsythia blooming in Feb has me anxious for spring!
ReplyDeletethe mirror looks great! looking forward to seeing the rest of updates... happy monday!
ReplyDeleteI love the mirror! It looks beautiful. And I look forward to seeing your new projects. Adding details to drapery is something that has been on my mind lately. I've wanted to try it, so I'm excited for some inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteAhh, the gold mirror looks great! I can't wait to see the curtains! I have two screens at work and it's so hard to use just one at home! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't you love productive weekends?! Love your updates, looking forward to later in the week! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those hellebores?....lovely....smiles

ReplyDeleteThe mirror looks beautiful in the gold! Looking forward to seeing your curtains and the color you chose. Rene, your profile photo is gorgeous. You hair is beautiful and I love that necklace you're wearing. Great photo of you!
ReplyDeleteRene, I love that you have two screens to work from. This past week particularly I have been wondering what it would be like to have that setup but I am not going there any time soon. Look forward to seeing the final reveal.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, you are cruising on the projects, Rene. Good for you. Sounds like a great weekend, and you will soon be enjoying the fruits of your labor. Or flowers! Those hellebores are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe gold mirror looks like it was always meant to be gold. I can hardly believe the hardiness of hellebore's...And how lucky are you to have two screens. Adore white painted brick!
ReplyDeleteOooo, those MIRRORS!! I'm wondering wwhich curtains you went with. And your beautiful, beautiful hellebores.
ReplyDeleteCamille

ReplyDeleteLove the Hellebores! They are blooming here in MI right now too - even earlier than normal because of the very mild weather we have had. Have a wonderful weekend Rene!
ReplyDeleteI have had those Hellebores planted for 3 years and they never bloomed...this fall I had them transplanted to a new place and they have flourished!!! So excited. I am still impressed with how many projects you get done!!!
