American Dream Cottages

I recently had the opportunity to check out the new American Dream Cottages.  If you are looking for something to read this weekend while poolside, I think you might like this issue.  Here is just a sampling of what is inside.
I am loving all the patterns in this colorful bedroom and have studied it over and over.

Loving this cool mix of fabrics too.  Just speaks "summer breeze" to me.

I know I say this all the time, but texture, texture, texture is the key to neutrals - plus a touch of green and contrast.

I want green glasses.  Yes I do.  I want green glasses.  How about you?  Really though, how pretty is this styling?

  6. Good morning Rene! Yes, I am going to look for this magazine today. I know you probably already know this but the house on the cover and the last 3 photos you posted are Kelley from The Polished Pebble's old Newport Beach house...it is so charming! (There are tons more photos of it on her blog). She sold the house fully furnished and it still looks pretty much the same. Lucky buyers! Thanks for the reminder to pick up this magazine!

Love your blog, as I may have already told you :)

    Have a good one!

  11. I think I need to pick up this magazine. Beautiful room....especially the green and blue one. Rene, my mom collected green glassware. She has some gorgeous glasses from her great Grandmother's farm where she spent her summers. That was the start of her collection and she'd pick up a piece here and there at antique shops and their travels. My Dad still has them displayed in their china hutch. So so beautiful.
