How was your weekend? I hope that you had a chance to enjoy yourselves and do something fun. Rick, the boys, and I slipped out of town last week for some serious down time. We headed to our favorite getaway in the mountains.
There comes a time in our travels when we roll the windows down to smell the fresh mountain air. I adore this little face I see looking back and me.
And, this guy has gotten so big I can hardly believe it. He is still just as sweet as ever.
I just had to share pictures of Mom's succulents. Aren't they gorgeous?! The copper container holding them is pretty too.
Look at this monster Hen & Chicken! I think it is happy. Maybe Mom will share some of the off-shoots with me ;).
Do you have a big week planned? We are in the home stretch of the last days of school. Hooray!

Your boys are so handsome (and big!). You are a teeny momma :) And, yes, we're counting down the days until summer around here, too!
ReplyDeletelooks like you had an awesome weekend!! you are adorable! and your mom's succulents are gorgeous! i have hens and chicks in my yard and it is going a little crazier than i expected- in a good way!
ReplyDeleteThose are the best kinds of trips. I give me son two years before he is taller than me! Love those succulents. Looking forward to the end of school and the official start of summer.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect weekend! Ugh, the sight of those big boys is bittersweet! We're counting down, too!
ReplyDeleteThe copper planter is the perfect container for such beautiful succulents!

ReplyDeleteYour boys are handsome - and that first photo is very frame worthy. What a great photo!!! Hope you enjoyed your downtime and big props to your Mom for some great succulents. They look great.
ReplyDeleteI love the mountains...especially in the summer when the beach is just TOO hot for me! Those succulents are huge!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so dang handsome :)
You are so cute Rene! How are you old enough to have boys that big? LOVE the succulents, I just planted some myself, I hope they do as well as your moms.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the plant info the other day, I checked my nursery and they were 100.00 a piece, wow. I might just plant a few boston ivy plants and be paient for them to cover the last part of our fence.
Looks like an amazing destination! I always love a getaway in the mountains!
ReplyDeleteI will spend the whole weekend resting, I've finished my degree yesterday and I think I need some time off!
Have a lovely day!
