Hi friends! We are finally settling in after one last summer getaway. I am now rejuvenated and ready for fall. Well, once I recover from the mound of laundry that filled my laundry room after the trip. Summer is one of my favorite seasons and I'm always a little sad to see it go. There is something special about the unscheduled days, spontaneous trips, and good ole down time that makes me love it. I also love summer for its green color everywhere. If you ever need color inspiration, take a walk outside. These images were taken last weekend in the mountains. We hiked up Phoenix Mountain and the reward came at the top where we could see breathtaking views of surrounding mountains including Grandfather Mountain. Beautiful!
We always listen to music when we travel and this summer was no exception. Even though a few of the songs are pretty old, we found ourselves listening to them...a lot. Enjoy.

Gorgeous pictures. What. Wonderful place to recharge and get ready to welcome fall.

These are some of the best times to find inspiration - not only are you taking in our natural wonders but you're enjoying it with loved ones - the best. and how did you put your playlist on like that? My music taste is all over the place - I love oldies but goodies.
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody! Holly, I should have mentioned that you have to listen to the playlist on Spotify. You can sign in with facebook, but you do have to install it to your computer. We love Spotify!
