Loved your blue door but definitely understand wanting a change. Your inspiration pic is gorgeous and Im sure your new door will be too! Can't wait to see it!
Can't wait to see!!!
I'll confess when I saw the title I did a little...nooo. Then I remembered anything you do is classic and stylish...can't wait!
Oh my, LOVE that colour! Can't wait to see yours!
Painting the front door is such a great way to change up the look of your house I think. The green will look great!
Great choice. I love a pretty green door -and don't be surprised if you see other green doors popping up around the hood when you're done!www.chattafabulous.blogspot.com
Ha! You are right Kim. :)
When I first read your post title, I thought NO! I love your blue door. But I get it..time for a change, especially if several of them are popping up in your neighborhood. I'm sure the new color will look great!
Look forward to seeing it! A paint color change is always fun isn't it!
You know that your neighbors will catch wind of this change and probably start changing their blue doors green soon! :)
Love! Can't wait to see. This darker color looks very rich and warm.
I have a feeling yours will be even nicer than the inspiration pic!
How funny -- my neighborhood all has red or green doors, so I'm itching to go blue! :) Can't wait to see yours!
Can't wait to see your door!
Love the green door inspiration! Yeah, everyone is catching on to the blue door look, so you of course are ahead of the curve! I do love blue doors though...the good news is you can always repaint if it doesn't feel like u!
Oh I've been wanting to paint my front door but now it's too cold. Guess it will have to wait till spring. Can't wait to see your green door.
you will now start a green door trend. I am anxious to see the finished product. I know it will be gorgeous!
Catching up on all these posts Rene and I love the green door! How pretty it will be for Christmas!-Lane
Love the green door! Loved the blue door too. What color do you recommend for a brick house with front door under a porch (hard to see from the road)? Can't wait to see the pics of how your door turns out...
Brandy, it is hard to say without seeing the house, but my first thought is to go with a light color - white, yellow, or light gray. I always take into consideration shutter and roof color, as well as surrounding landscape. If you have lots of flowers in your front yard, keep those in mind when making your choice. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the help Rene! It is actually white right now, and believe it or not, the two colors I have tossed around are yellow and gray...great minds :) I really love the idea of yellow, and have an inspiration door in mind. I too considered my landscaping (and the undertones in my brick which are olive), and think I will end up with the gray. I hadn't thought about keeping it light, but I think I will to help with visibility.
I love your comments and read each and every one. Your questions will be answered here or you can email me at email@example.com
