With blue doors popping up all over our neighborhood, I've been itching to make a change. Here is my inspiration photo. If all goes well, I should have this little project wrapped up today. Wish me luck.
Loved your blue door but definitely understand wanting a change. Your inspiration pic is gorgeous and Im sure your new door will be too! Can't wait to see it!
When I first read your post title, I thought NO! I love your blue door. But I get it..time for a change, especially if several of them are popping up in your neighborhood. I'm sure the new color will look great!
Love the green door inspiration! Yeah, everyone is catching on to the blue door look, so you of course are ahead of the curve! I do love blue doors though...the good news is you can always repaint if it doesn't feel like u!
Love the green door! Loved the blue door too. What color do you recommend for a brick house with front door under a porch (hard to see from the road)? Can't wait to see the pics of how your door turns out...
Brandy, it is hard to say without seeing the house, but my first thought is to go with a light color - white, yellow, or light gray. I always take into consideration shutter and roof color, as well as surrounding landscape. If you have lots of flowers in your front yard, keep those in mind when making your choice. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the help Rene! It is actually white right now, and believe it or not, the two colors I have tossed around are yellow and gray...great minds :) I really love the idea of yellow, and have an inspiration door in mind. I too considered my landscaping (and the undertones in my brick which are olive), and think I will end up with the gray. I hadn't thought about keeping it light, but I think I will to help with visibility.
