Martha Stewart Home Office & a $100 Giveaway With Staples

***THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED***
I'm big on being organized; I'm not always the best at it, but I like to know that there is a place for everything with everything in its place. Additionally, I'd like for it all to look good.
That is why I was thrilled to learn about the new product line, Martha Stewart Home Office™ with Avery ™ sold exclusively at Staples (both in stores and on line)! Unless you've been living under a rock, you know how organized Martha is and how amazing everything looks when it's all arranged and orderly. My excitement only grew when I was one of the bloggers chosen to receive and review the new home office collection! And just in time, with the recent changes to the office, no less!

In order for my home office to run smoothly, there needs to be order and all the little things I use daily should be organized and within reach. The Stack+Fit™ system is perfect for corralling those little things that tend to get lost on a desk. The system is completely customizable so you can have the exact size and configuration you want. Each piece is designed to fit perfectly atop or alongside (sometimes inside) the rest. The Shagreen finish is pretty enough to display anywhere. By the way, I'm also really enjoying the lined sticky notes for reminders and lists!

If you're like me and need a mobile office, you will love the accordion file and document sleeves. I find these especially helpful for keeping my client work organized and presentation ready. The best part is it all fits neatly inside my bag when I'm heading out the door.

Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery also has me ready for the holidays with beautiful products that are durable enough to mail and pretty enough to sit under the tree. That's two jobs well done! These holiday products are only available in-store at Staples. I have even been using the journal to plan upcoming events and found the entertaining tips in the back of the journal to be extra helpful.

Labels, one cannot have too many! I'm pretty sure these Chalkboard Labels were created with me in mind because they can be cleaned and repositioned. They are great for smooth surfaces like glass, plastic containers, and metal boxes and come in various sizes and styles. Don't be surprised if you see these popping up in more places!

These are just a few of the great items I received. To learn about the product line and all of the simple and stylish ways to get organized visit Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery to browse, then purchase items from the collection at Staples. You can also like Avery on Facebook!

I'm so happy to have the opportunity to share this giveaway with a lucky reader. In order to enter for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Staples, let me know your favorite organizing tip!

  1. So I am freaking obsessed. Just picked up some Shagreen Mint items from this collection the other day. Give me, give me! Would be delighted for more! Thank you for the giveaway Rene!

  2. My best organization tip is: file it now, don't wait, don't put it on the I'll-do-it-later pile. Wish I could consistently follow this rule, the piles would melt away. Jo @ Let's Face the Music jamesonvaughn (at) verizon (dot) net

  3. My best tip is keep lists for gifts, and send thank you notes as soon as you receive a gift.

    ReplyDelete
  4. My best tip is to keep all surfaces cleared by whatever means necessary. So much less stress.

    ReplyDelete
  5. My best organization tip is to hire a professional organizer if you can, it will be one of the best investments! Give yourself an hour or two and you will see how fast things start to take shape.
Learning to let go of things, passing things along to those in need and to make notes of what needs to be completed helps.
Love STAPLES, love the Martha Stewart Avery collection too.
Love seeing my pve card of your home tucked in that box! Thanks-

  6. My best organzing tip is touch it once. Open the mail when you get it from the mail box, keep what you need, toss the rest. Receipts - file it or trash it. Paper accumulates at our house like locusts. If I don't get rid of it as soon as it comes in, we'll be swimming in it.

  7. My best tip is to keep small boxes, jars or baskets rather than discarding them. With some labels, they are handy for organizing cluttered spaces.

  9. My favorite tip is to do a quick pick-up of your house daily, before you go to bed. And not just throwing everything in a basket--actually putting everything back where it belongs! You can stay much more organized if you have a place for everything and know where it is.

LOVE this line. It's the first area I visit when I visit Staples :) Our office is full of her stuff!

  10. My organizing tip is to have one spot for mail so that its easier to go through it all at once. Throw away junk mail as soon as you get it! I love the Martha Stewart collection at staples!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I am a crafty person and that does not mean always organized. My biggest way to organize is to put it away immediately before a pile builds up.

    ReplyDelete
  12. The best way to tame the clutter for me is to take care of all mail and everything else I bring in as soon as I walk in the door. I put everything in it's place before I do anything else.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I have always been a big fan of Martha and I die over all her organization things! I would love to have any of them!

  14. My best tip is be organized is to take everything in a basket and then go through it with 3 things in mind.
Donate, Put away (file) or Sell it.
If you can hire a professional organizer, it really is amazing how they can restore order. I think we all need this in such a busy life, especially Moms.

  17. My best tip is to straighten everything up before bed each night. Once you get into the habit, it'll drive you crazy if you don't do it before bed. When my papers are put away each night, they have a way of not getting lost.

    ReplyDelete
  18. My best tip is to always have a place for something. Buy a filing cabinet for papers and organize them in labeled folders, buy bins to put craft supplies in, dedicate shelves in the pantry for specific food items, ect.

    ReplyDelete
  19. My favorite is to store a set of sheets in their pillowcase. I also hide a set of scissors and tape from the kids and keep it with my gift wrap.

    ReplyDelete
  20. My tip is to always be consistent. If there is a place for something, help it back to it's home. That way everyone know where it is and you are not constantly being asked where everything in the world is. Get everyone in the house on the same program.

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Forgot my tip! I try to keep things organized by making sure it makes sense. Sounds silly, but if I keep putting something in a certain drawer, but its designated spot is somewhere else, the system clearly isn't working, and I'll reorganized based on that. More important now that I'm married - I have to see where my husband keeps putting things!

    ReplyDelete
  32. My favorite tip - put it away immediately. Hang your coat when you get home, put shoes away, clean as you go, etc...

I would be thrilled to win this terrific give-a-way!

    ReplyDelete
  33. one of my favorite organizing tips: keep the boxes copy paper comes in, cover with pretty contact paper and use to hold misc. items....I keep one in my pantry to hold excess kitchen gadgets that take up too much space in a drawer. I keep another one on a shelf in my office to hold misc. school supplies for my kids....inexpensive and fun to coordinate with your decor!

  110. I would love to win this to help me get more organized! My one tip to share is to go paperless. No more paper bills. Less to have to go through. And stand by the garbage or recycle bin when you go through the mail!

    ReplyDelete
  111. My favorite to do tip -- only touch it once! As in, file/trash the mail when you receive it rather than moving it from place to place. Fold the laundry as the load dries - don't let accumulate, etc.. touch it once.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Try to sort the mail and throw away all of the junk before you ever get a chance to put it down (or pile it up)!

    ReplyDelete
  113. My tip is to keep a post-it note in a bag, so when you remember something, write it down!
    Godsgalnj@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  114. When you use a tool, put it right back in its "home".

    ReplyDelete
  115. My best and only organizing tip is to have a place, a hook, a bin, a drawer, a shelf, a whatever for absolutely everything. It may sound ridiculously over simplified, but if you only have/buy what you need and put it back in the same place....it works. I kind of learned this through the years from reading Martha Stewart Living religiously. I love her stuff at Staples!

  123. My best tip is to have a place for everything & keep everything in it's place. Easier said than done with two littles around! Also, it's important to me to purge a couple of times a year - where does all that stuff come from anyway?

    sally.puckett@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  126. I have long struggled with getting the kids to put away their shoes. Finally, I found a old wooden storage bench at Goodwill, painted it with chalk paint, and put it by the back door. I also came up with a saying: "Shoes in the bench so you can find them in the morn-ing!" This works pretty well. I had hoped when we moved to a new larger home with an actual coat closet, it would no longer be necessary, but after 2 weeks without the shoe bench, I had to bring it back out!

    ReplyDelete
  127. I still struggle with organization, but the best method is also the most simple. Take care of the mail as it comes in, either file what needs to be filed or toss in into the recycle bin. Also, labels and tags on items make things so much easier to find and put things into the correct spot.
